Autumn news

THE BEADY BUS & NEW STALL (with Liam)
AUTUMN ALREADY?!
So, the 'summer' is over and it was not ALL bad. We got a new mini bus and got the car fixed. Happy faces! We sadly didn't get to take the caravan out, in fact we didn't really manage to get to many events. (SILLY WEATHER!) Okay! We did ONE event but, there was a severe lack of customers, hardly any people at all, and it was one of the few lovely sunny days too! It was the first time we had got our new stall out and it looked amazing! SO much better than the tatty thing we had before *SHAMEFUL* Tim did have the most amazing idea. He thinks we could do the Beady Bus up (Yes, it has a name and everything!) Make it all cosy and beady lovely so that we can take it along to events and let people hop on board to make their own jewellery? WOW! Amazing idea!!! I am thinking some lovely curtains and I must show you the little tables Tim made! They will be ideal in there with some funky cushions and some twinkly fairy lights all around. It's so exciting! I just need some time and energy now to get this plan in action. We did hope we could do it out in time for Hallowe'en. We still might! You never know!
Great idea! Shame about the cushions!
Would look even better with black backing.
Beads and more beads!
Hello Kitty section and some handbags.
So as you can see we are making some improvements, slowly but surely we are climbing the ladder. If I live for another 100yrs I might actually make it to the top! Most probably die trying haha!

Other news
We have started up Sharpness Hobbies Arts & Crafts Group  It's on every Saturday 9am - 12.30pm Tim does football skills 9-10am then we have the crafty fun from 10am -12.30pm On Tuesdays we run from 3.30pm-6pm. Tim does football skills 3.45 - 4.30pm We also serve tea, coffee, squash and toast. Everyone is welcome to come along, you don't even have to join in, you can just sit and enjoy a cuppa if you so wish. This kept  us busy during the summer holidays. We were running Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for the grand cost of £1!
I am so grateful to Sharpness Village Hall hall for letting us hire the hall for a low price. We are not a profit making organisation, we are just trying to keep people amused. Also Gloucester Scrap Store is AMAZING! We can fill a trolley for £10 for the group so we don't have to be frightened of not having enough to keep going, we go mad and really creative! Such fun!!! Please check out the links and let me know what you think.

So Kath! DID you get everything organised and looking like something out of a magazine?
NO I JOLLY WELL DIDN'T! Better luck in Autumn perhaps?

Does this count?
