Getting organised

Our focus lately has been on trying to get organised. Getting our beads neatly decanted into storage boxes on our homemade shelves (thank you Tim)  Much better than the scruffy cardboard boxes we keep tripping over! As we run the business from home, I have had to think of clever storage ideas and plan shelving. We are lucky we have such a large living room. I have taken over half of it up with the beads and workspace. We have been looking at renting some space, but realised that the ideal space is right at the end of our back garden, so one day, I plan to have an office right on my doorstep! For now though, it's back to clever shelving. So glad my hubby is handy like that.
Our attention has also been on transport. We like to attend shows and events during the summer season. We bought a caravan last year and took our scruffy stall to a few and at one event we met a lovely couple about to retire. They sold us their stall and van at the end of the season and gave us lots of help and advice. They were lovely to us. The van, they admitted was not the best but the stall alone was worth the money we paid. Sadly it wasn't long before the van broke down and we got a small car to get around in during the winter. We are now looking for a new van, not that this summer is up to much, so many events are getting cancelled due to this rainy weather. I won't dwell on the fact that we found the ideal van on ebay at the weekend, bought it and the sodding thing broke down on the way home Tuesday or that the car is now on its last legs! Luckily the gentleman gave us our money back, so we can keep looking for a new van. All is not lost and the car being out of order just means more exercise right?  I must keep positive.
