Valentine Jewellery challenge!

I suddenly wondered why I was struggling with a title when all I needed to do was ask my long-suffering husband to grab me a handful of beads! Great plan! He took this job very seriously and came back, with what seemed like, a hideous curse of a tray of evil beads *panic*. I had already announced my plan to facebook so, I had to go ahead with it and see if I could make this riot of colour become romantic and alluring. I have made a good start now, feeling quite pleased, so far so good!

Happy 2013 to you. Ideas are forming in my mind. Little voices are telling me I need a challenge. I was looking at a fellow facebooker's page, when I saw they had taken part in a crafty challenge. Every day, a new idea like, 'Make some earrings' or 'Make something new from something old' That set the cogs a-whirring and I decided to make a piece of jewellery or pieceS of jewellery with Valentine's day in mind. Now, I can't decide if I should keep it that simple though? Maybe I need to narrow it down a bit to say, country valentine, urban valentine, space punk valentine or perhaps take inspiration from the book I am reading my youngest? "Tom's midnight garden' ? I've always loved that book! So, as I close my weary peepers I will have a think on it. Maybe tonight I won't dream of free wheeling down a steep slope on my hot water bottle with wheels?! Yeah! Only I could dream that one up! It probably means I am sick and twisted but we knew that right?!
